Actor Raja goes on hunger strike over power crises in Budelkhand

Jhansi, Apr 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Bundelkhand Mukti Morcha president and film actor Raja Bundela today went on a hunger strike with the Congress workers over power roastering and demanded 20 hrs uninterrupted power supply in the drought-hit region.

UP Chief Minister Mayawati had announced 20 hrs uninterrupted power supply to the disaster affected division, however, people were getting electricity for 10 hrs only, sources said.

Congress had observed series of hunger strike over the issue, Mr Bundela too joined the protest with them.
