TN Corporation asks doctors to store vaccines properly

Tiruchirapalli, Apr 26 (UNI) Tiruchirapalli Corporation has directed its medical staff to initiate steps for storing the vaccines at proper temperature, according to Corporation's Deputy Mayor M Anbazhgan.

Inaugurating the free-beds facility service at Seahorse Hospital here yesterday, Mr Anbazhgan said the Corporation's health staff also advised them to stop using expired vaccines.

The Managing Director of the hospital S Chandrakumar, said the free outpatient consultation facilities will function every Friday for General medicine, General surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Obstetric and Gynecology patients.

Free in-patient bed facilities would be provided for Below Poverty Line(BPL) category and also for the downtrodden, he added.
