Silver recovers, gold steady: BBA

Mumbai, Apr 26: Silver recovered today by Rs 70 per kg on fresh buying support while gold remained steady on moderate demand, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said. Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fines grade : Rs 22,845 (22,775) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,550 (11,550) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,610 (11,610).
