Silver opens low: Bombay Bullion Assn

Mumbai, Apr 26: The value of silver opened low by Rs 105 per kg on thin buying support while gold slightly improved by Rs 5 per ten gm, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said today. Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold in the bullion market here today: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 22,880 Gold (per 10 gm) 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 11,555 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 11,610.
