KCP(MC) claims responsibility for Imphal blast

Imphal, Apr 26: The proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP-MC) has claimed responsibility for the bomb blast at Babupara on April 24, which left three persons, including a woman, injured.

A statement issued here today by the military affairs secretary of the outfit Lanheiba Meitei said the explosion was executed by the demo section of the outfit's fifth Lanjaba Unit.

Meanwhile, state police personnel enforced traffic regulations in and around the main market area of Imphal city.

Superintendent of Police (IW) L Kailun said entry of motor vehicles was stopped completely.
