Karat to visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands

{image-prakash karat_26042008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Port Blair, Apr 26: CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat will come on a day's visit to Andaman and Nicobar Islands tomorrow.

Soon after arrival, the CPI(M) leader is scheduled to visit the Cellular Jail complex to pay tributes to martyrs at the Martyrs Column. In the evening he will inaugurate the newly constructed office building of the Andaman&Nicobar State Organising Committee here. Chairman of the West Bengal Left Front Committee Biman Basu will also be present on the occasion.

The inaugural function will be followed by a public meeting at Tiranga Park of Port Blair, CPI(M) State Secretary K.G Das told UNI today.
