4 men arrested, poppy husk seized

Mandsaur, MP, Apr 26: Four people were arrested and about 6.5 quintal poppy husk and 2.5 kg opium seized from different places of this district, police said today.

On a tip-off, police seized 6.35 quintal poppy husk from a truck at Yashowardhan Nagar police station area and arrested two people hailing from Rajasthan's Baneda and Chareria village last night.

In another incident, a man was nabbed with 1.3 kg opium at Sidhedi village while another person was also held with about 1.25 kg opium from Bhavgarh area yesterday.

The foursome was arrested under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
