Another scorching hot day in Delhi, mercury stays 3 Deg above normal

New Delhi, Apr 24 (UNI) It was another scorching hot day in Delhi today as the mercury stayed above the 40 degrees Celsius mark for the third consecutive day.

The scorching heat of the sun led to the maximum temperature staying three degrees above normal at 40.1 degrees Celsius.

There was, however, a slight dip in minimum temperature to 22.1 degrees Celsius.

The coming days could witness a prevalence of the heat wave with weathermen forecasting the maximum to remain at 40 degrees C tomorrow.

The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
