Two killed, two mising as truck falls into Bhakra canal
Sangrur, Apr 23 (UNI) Two people were killed and two reported missing after the truck in which they were travelling fell into the Bhakra Main Line canal near Khanauri town in the district this afternoon, police here said.
The deceased included the driver and his assistant while the two missing were migrant labourers, who managed to swim ashore after the truck fell into the canal.
The truck was coming from Amritsar. Rescue operations have been launched to trace the two missing labourers.
