Sri Prakash Jaiswal's son among 8 booked for land encroachment

Kanpur, Apr 23 (UNI) Eight people, including Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal's son and a Samajwadi Party (SP) leader, were today booked for encroaching upon a government land here.

Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) sources said, ''A case had been registered against Mr Jaiswal's son Siddharth, SP leader Lalal Singh Tomar and six others. '' The accused had encroached upon a government land and despite a notice from the KDA, they had not left it, sources added.
