Punjab police seizes over 2 lakh pirated music materials

Chandigarh, Apr 23 (UNI) Punjab Police conducted seven raids in various areas of Punjab over a span of a week and seized a total of 2,96,717 pirated material comprising of 10,137 DVDs, 4,666 pirated VCDs, 6,361 MP3s, 40 Master CDs, 201 pirated music cassettes, 2,75,000 inlay cards, 9 C D writers, 1 Monitor, 1 UPS, 1 Keyboard and 300 CDR.

On a tip-off from the Indian Music Industry, the raids were conducted in music shops in Ludhiana city, the Ravidass Road in Amritsar City, Bhathinda and Jalandhar, police said UNI XC JN BK1943
