Naidu, Munde meet Raj BJP to discuss poll strategy
Jaipur, Apr 23 (UNI) The ruling BJP leadership in Rajasthan today discussed the political scenario, poll strategy and the party's organisational preparedness for the state Assembly elections to be held by November this year.
BJP general secretary Gopinath Munde, who had withdrawn his resignation from party posts yesterday, party former president M Venkaiah Naidu, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and state party president Om Prakash Mathur participated in a series of meetings held here.
Mr Munde and Mr Naidu arrived here this morning.
Soon after, they held informal discussions with various leaders, including the Chief Minister and Mr Mathur over issues and strategy for the elections and general image and feedback being procured by the party from across the state through different channels.
Later, Mr Munde, incharge of the party state affairs, Mr Naidu, state election incharge and Ms Raje held meetings with the office bearers of party state unit and members of the state council of ministers.
The next round of discussions is scheduled to be held with the party central leadership in New Delhi tomorrow.
