Kirloskar Brothers Q4 net sales up 26.7 pc

New Delhi, Apr 23: Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), water management solutions company, said its net sales for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 increased 26.7 per cent to Rs 569 crore compared to Rs 449 crores for the corresponding period a year ago.

The company said in a statement that its turnover for the year ended March 31, 2008 recorded an increase of 13.8 per cent to Rs 1,525.10 crore as compared to Rs 1,340 crore a year ago. The Group net sales for FY08 jumped 15.5 per cent to Rs 2,058 crore as against last year's Rs 1,781 crore.

KBL also has a order book of over Rs 4,000 crore.

During the year, it successfully commissioned the Rs 124 crore project of pumping systems for J Chokka Rao Devadulla lift irrigation project in Andhra Pradesh to lift and deliver Godavari water to the Telangana region, the statement added.
