Assam govt to institute judicial probe into Baruah's murder
Guwahati, Apr 23 (UNI) The Assam government has decided to institute a judicial probe into the killing of Dulen Baruah at Himpara village near Moranhat in Sivasagar district on April 14.
Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said here today that the government had decided to go in for judicial inquiry, respecting the sentiments of the local people.
''We want to get to the bottom of the truth and there is nothing to hide,'' he added.
The Chief Minister also said the enquiry conducted by Additional Chief Secretary Alok Perti would also go on simultaneously.
