Youth drowns at Nadia

Krishnagar, Apr 21 (UNI) A Higher Secondary examinee today drowned in the Bhagirathi river near Rathtala area, Kalyani in the district.

Police said Pranab Mondol (18) drowned while he was bathing in the river along with his friends.

Divers had been pressed into service to recover the body, police added.
