VYAPAM to conduct test in MP

Bhopal, Apr 21 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Technical Education Minister Nagendra Singh today clarified that the Vyavasayik Pariksha Mandal (VYAPAM) would conduct the entrance test for engineering colleges as per schedule.

''The state government has authorised VYAPAM in this regard but the exact date is yet to be fixed for the test,'' he told UNI.

When pointed out that a gap would be created between government college students and their private counterparts if the exam was not held in time, the Minister said that central recognition of private colleges comes as late as July several times and it was often observed that many private colleges' admissions take place until even October.
