Tributes paid to Bharathidasan

Puducherry, Apr 21 (UNI) Rich tributes were paid to Tamil poet Bharathidasan on his death anniversary here today.

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his Cabinet colleagues, Legislators and senior officials of the territorial administration were among those who garlanded the statue of the poet near the Legislative Assembly to mark the occasion.

Mannar Mannan, Bharathidasan's son and several Tamil scholars also garlanded the statue on the occasion.
