TDP kicks off 'mee kosam'

Chandragiri, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 21 (UNI) The Opposition TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu today kicked off his 150-day ''mee kosam'' tour (chaitanya rath yatra) for exposing the alleged misdeeds of the ruling Congress government among the people.

Mr Naidu arrived at a Dalitwada, after a darshan of Lord Balaji and offering prayers at Mathamma temple, marking the launch of the yatra, and later inaugurated free health camp at Dalitwada in Rayalapuram.

Later, Mr Naidu perched on his custom-made-ratham, ridden by TDP politburo Nandumuri Harikrishna, along with its leaders Yennamalla Ramakrishna, Yerrannaidu. State mahila leader and actress Roja and Amarnath Reddy attended the party campaign.

The statewide yatra would touch all the 294 Assembly constituencies with public meetings and roadshows.
