Reliance net profit touches Rs 19458 cr for 2007-08

Mumbai, Apr 21 (UNI) Reliance Industries Limited today announced consolidated group net profit of Rs 19,523 crore for 2007-08 on a total income of Rs 138,371 crore.

The net profit for fiscal 2007 was Rs 12,975 crore on a total income of Rs 1,14,424 crore, the Company stated in a release.

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 3,912 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 3,156 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 27,573 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 37,575 crore.
