Madonna's '4 Minutes' tops UK singles chart

London, Apr 21 : American pop diva Madonna made it to the top of the UK singles chart with her new song '4 Minutes'.

This is the 13th UK number one that she has claimed in her career.

'4 Minutes' features Justin Timberlake, and its claim of the top spot pushed Estelle and Kanye West's American Boy into second place.

The single comes from her 11th album Hard Candy, and her topping the chart has come after a period of 23 years since she topped the UK chart.

Album wise, The Kooks took the number one slot with their second album 'Konk', and Leona Lewis' 'Spirit' ended up at number two.
