IECD to open off-campus training centre in Hyd

Tiruchirapalli, Apr 21: The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (IECD), Bharathidasan University, here will start an off-campus training centre with industry collaboration in Hyderabad, for the first time outside Tamil Nadu, IECD Director K Parthasarathy said.

In a release here, he said the IECD, in association with Divya Knowledge Processing Management Limited, would offer five programmes - Certificate in Call Centre Management - Voice and Non-Voice, Certificate in Spoken English and Personality Development, Diploma in BPO and Diploma in Medical Transcription.

Varsity Vice-Chancellor M Ponnvaikko would inaugurate the off-campus centre in Hyderabad and launch the five programmes on wednesday, he said. The courses would be offered through tie-ups with six other entities, he added.
