Chhattisgarh CM's unique bounty

Raipur, Apr 21 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today forgave and granted a constable's job to a surrendered former naxal commander after being majorly influenced by the latter's confession in the Jagargunda relief camp that he had fired at Dr Singh's helicopter some years back, official sources said.

Under the Gram Suraaj Abiyan, which got underway today, the Chief Minister reached the camp by helicopter, interacted with people and heard the confession of Bheema who was hitherto serving as a special police officer.
