AMD releases new processors
Bangalore, Apr 21 (UNI) AMD today released two new 45-watt energy efficient processors - Athlon X2 4450e and AMD Athlon X2 4050e.
The new processors were the latest effort by AMD to enable energy-efficient platform solutions that would better meet the performance and digital media consumption needs of users.
Beyond the processor, AMD would offer further efficiency gains for users when AMD energy-efficient CPUs, which were combined with the recently launched AMD 780G chipset, for systems designed to deliver the ultimate mainstream computing experience, a company release said.
This would benefit both consumers and businesses of all sizes.
The new processors were designed for mainstream and enthusiast power users who run multiple processor-intensive applications simultaneously, and for digital media enthusiasts looking for enhanced digital content creation and consumption capabilities with energy efficiency.
