Sarpanch rapes woman in Punjab village
Sangrur, Apr 20 (UNI) A sarpanch allegedly raped a 35-yeard old dalit woman in Gandhuan village under the Sunam sub division of the district yesterday, police here today said.
The sarpanch identified as Harpal Singh barged into the house of the victim on the pertex of making a 'yellow card' for the family.
He first assaulted the woman and then raped her.
The sarpanch has been arrested by the police.
