New VC for MKU assumes office

Madurai, Apr 20 (UNI) Dr R Karpaga Kumaravel assumed office as the Vice Chancellor of Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) here today.

At a simple function held at the university complex, Dr Kumaravel assumed office in the presence of syndicate members and others.

Dr Kumaravel was the Professor and Head, Department of Education Technology, Bharathidasan University.

He was appointed as the new VC by Tamil Nadu Governor and Chancellor Surjeet Singh Barnala, recently.
