Kashmir should be made a role model for SAARC: Mufti
Sanjawan (Jammu and Kashmir), Apr 20 : People's Democratic arty (PDP) chief Mufti Mohammad Syed on Saturday advocated etter trade relations with Pakistan-administered region in ashmir and urged to make it a model for the South Asian ssociation for Regional Cooperation (SAARC). "When the Centre talk about trade relations between Indian and akistan Kashmir and people traveling across the border, then I rge to make Kashmir a model for SAARC fraternity," said Mufti.
He was addressing a rally attended by Gujjar-Bakarwals, a nomadic ribe of the State. The collective population of the Gujjar-akarwals tribe has gained importance among all the political arties of the State as the State elections are fast approaching. ANI)
