Iranian fishing boat captured near Okha port

Okha, Gujarat, Apr 20 (UNI) Okha coastguards seized an Iranian fishing boat and arrested 19 fishermen for illegal fishing in Indian waters.

According to Okha coastguard sources, Indian coastguards patrolling ship ''Sangram'' yesterday spotted an Iranian fishing boat ''Zeravir'' in the Indian waters, 127 nautical miles from Dwarka light house, and captured the boat for fishing illegally.

The arrested fishermen were handed over to the Okha police for interrogation.
