Videocon godown reduced to ashes at IT Park in Salt Lake

Kolkata, Apr 19 (UNI) A major fire today reduced to ashes Videocon godown at IT Park of Sector Five in Salt Lake.

Police said 22 fire tenders, which had been pressed into service, fought for at least one hour to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, police said.

No casualty had been reported so far.

The extent of the damage in the godown was yet to be estimated, police stated.
