Minister warns of stern action for poor quality of roads

Patna, Apr 19: Bihar Road Construction Minister Prem Kumar today warned of stern action against those responsible for constructing poor quality roads in the state.

After making surprise inspection of the on-going construction works of different roads here, Mr Kumar directed the officers concerned to improve the quality of roads by using good materials during the constructions.

He also called a high level meeting of the officers engaged in road construction works and directed them to accelerate the pace of work in view of the coming monsoon.

The inhabitants of Patna should not face any hardships due to waterlogging in the coming monsoon, he added.
