Raju Pal murder case: Bail plea of accused rejected

Allahabad, Apr 18 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court today rejected the bail application of three people accused of threatening Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Raju Pal assassination case witness.

The order was passed by a bench comprising Justice S C Nigam.

Expelled Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Atiq Ahmed along with Farhan, Aabir and Ezaz Ahmed had been booked under the Gangster Act for issuing life threats to Pal's murder case witness.

BSP MLA Raju Pal was murdered on January 25, 2005, in Allahabad.

Atiq is the prime accused in the case and was recently arrested in Delhi.
