Rahul heads for Chitrakoot to seek blessings

Chitrakoot, Apr 18: Congress General Secretary and Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi will visit Chitrakoot today.

According to sources, Rahul is visiting Chitrakoot to acquire the blessings of a priest.

The scion of the Nehru-Gandhi family has been touring tribal-domiated areas of the country in a bid to connect with the people and whip up support for the party ahead of next year's general elections.

During his recent visit to Orissa and Karnataka, Rahul made special efforts to understand tribal issues.

He has earmarked tribal issues, agriculture and youth as his three important priority areas.
