Noida property dealer arrested for kidnapping Delhi girl

New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) A Noida based property dealer was arrested today, for kidnapping a 17-year-old girl from East Delhi last week, police said.

Pradeep, a property dealer of sector 28 in Noida, was arrested for kidnapping the girl, resident of Shahdara, by luring her to accompany him to Mussourie.

After kidnapping the girl on April 12, Pradeep took her to Solan in Himachal Pradesh and later to Simla where a team of Delhi police arrested him and rescued the girl.

Both Pradeep and the girl were brought to Delhi and the victim was handed over to her parents.

Interrogation revealed that Pradeep had also demanded a ransom of Rs 15 lakh from the parents of the victim, who had a farming business in Uttaranchal.
