Nitish Cabinet expansion expose internal squabblings of NDA:Congress

Patna, Apr 18 (UNI) The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) today alleged that expansion of the Nitish Kumar Cabinet had exposed the power hungry leaders in both JD (U) and BJP.

Chief spokesman of BPCC Premchandra Mishra, in a release here, said the internal squabbling among the NDA leaders for ministerial berth had exposed the fact about the extent of the level they could stoop low for seeking power.

'' The open criticism of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi by the dissident MLAs of NDA is an indication of the weak leadership, '' he said adding the Congress was keeping close vigil on the development and would not shy away from taking political step, if the situation so warranted.

The expansion of the Nitish Kumar Cabinet was no reflection of the representation of all sections of the society, Mr Mishara said and added the Brahmins and Kayasthyas were not allotted berth in the expanded Cabinet.

The Congress leader wondered that Chandramohan Rai, who was performing well as Health Minister in the Nitish Kumar Cabinet, was unnecessarily dropped from the Cabinet during its expansion.
