Haryana govt rules out privatisation of govt schools
Ambala, Apr 18 (UNI) Haryana Education and Transport Minister Mange Ram Gupta today made it clear that there was no proposal for privatisation of government schools and no post of teacher would be abolished in the state.
He also refuted the allegation of retrenching the teachers as baseless and concocted.
Talking to mediapersons, he said a private society had proposed to Rajashtan, Punjab and Haryana governments to adopt some government schools which had lack of facilities and the children were not getting good education in these schools.
He said the Rajasthan and Punjab Governments had accepted this proposal while the Haryana government was considering the proposal.
The Education Minister said this society was interested to adopt 70 schools of Rewari, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Jind districts.
He made it clear that the post of teachers would not be abolished or these schools would be privatised. He said these 70 government schools would also remain the Government Schools besides, there would be a proposal to appoint a government teacher in these societies also.
