Petronet LNG registers 13.2% hike in its net profit

New Delhi, Apr 16 (UNI) Petronet LNG Ltd today said it has registered 13.2 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 120.03 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 106.03 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Total income increased 13.9 per cent to Rs 1,770.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 1,553.67 crore for the same quarter a year.

The company posted 34 per cent surge in its net profit to Rs 474.6 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 313.2 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Its total income witnessed 16 per cent hike to Rs 6,608.8 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 5,545.5 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
