Air Deccan makes emergency landing at Nagpur
Nagpur, Apr 16 (UNI) A Delhi-bound Air Deccan flight, carrying 171 passengers, including former Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi and his wife, made an emergency landing at the Nagpur airport after a technical fault.
The aircraft was on its way from Raipur to New Delhi when the pilot noticed the problem, and diverted the plane to Nagpur, official sources said.
The Airbus A-320, with seven crew members on board, made a safe landing at Nagpur airport, the sources said.
The aircraft was being inspected, and the stranded passengers would be taken to New Delhi after Deccan Airways arranged for another aircraft, the sources said, adding all passengers and crew members were safe.
