3 killed, 250 injured during Ramnavmi celebrations

Hazaribagh, Apr 16: At least three people were killed and about 250 injured, five of them seriously, in clashes during Ramnavmi celebrations, in different areas under Sadar police station here late last night, police said today.

A male youth succumbed to injuries during a demonstration of arms near Yadavbabuchowk of the district,police added.

In another incident, a woman died after being hurt during the procession near Jhardachowk, while another teenager also died in the district here, police said.

The injured had been admitted to various hospitals, while several were relieved later on.

The condition of five among the injured was stated to be critical, police added.
