Sting splashes out 13.4m pounds on luxury apartment in NYC

London, Apr 14 : Rocker Sting has just doled out 13.4 million pounds for a luxury apartment in New York.

The building is 43-storeys tall and home to some of America's wealthiest financial tycoons, with an indoor swimming pool and separate quarters for domestic staff.

The apartment, which is in a posh part of New York, has five-bedrooms, reports The Sun.

The ex-Police star is expected to move into the swanky Central Park West address, which is over two floors, later this year.

The 56-year-old singer, and his 54-year-old wife Trudie Styler own several homes worldwide, including Elizabethan manor house Lake House in Wiltshire, England, a country cottage in the Lake District, a beach house in Malibu, California, a 600-acre estate in Tuscany, Italy, and two properties in London.
