'Party will decide on Rahul's projection as PM candidate'

Jaipur, Apr 14 (UNI) AICC General Secretary Mukul Wasnik today remained non-commital over the projection of Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi as the party's Prime Ministerial candidate.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Wasnik said it was not appropriate for him to offer personal views over such an issue as such matters were to be decided by the party.

Mr Wasnik said he was not aware of opinion or views reportedly expressed by Union Human Resources Development Minister Arjun Singh in favour of a move for Mr Gandhi's projection as Congress' Prime Ministerial candidate.

Mr Wasnik was in town to participate in the seminar organised by the party state unit to mark the birth anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar.
