CPI(M-L) hails victory of communists in Nepal elections

New Delhi, Apr 14 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) today hailed the victory of the Communist Party of Nepal(Maoist) in the Constituent Assembly elections as a great success of all ''anti-feudal and anti-imperialist struggles in India and the whole of South Asia.'' In a statement here, CPI(M-L) general secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya sought to assure the revolutionary communists of Nepal of all support to them against any ''imperialist design to block their forward March.'' ''While affirming the friendly people-to-people relations between India and Nepal, we also look forward to closer ties between revolutionary communists in our two countries,'' he said.

The CPI(M-L) leader also congratulated the Communist Party of Nepal(UML) on the victory of the Left and republican forces in their country.
