Shinde denies rumours of becoming CM
Pune, Apr 12 (UNI) Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde today said his coming to the state, as the state Chief Minister for a second tenure is only a rumour.
Answering questions here after laying the foundation stone of the 400/220 sub-station at Talegaon, Mr Shinde said he had not been informed of any such move.
On being asked, why the Congress leadership zeroed in only on him as a candidate for the Chief Minister's post, he said the question should be put to the Congress leaders.
Meanwhile, Mr Shinde announced a grant of Rs 25 lakh for road building in Maval taluka and said the power grid would help wherever necessary.
