policemen rape Nepalese girl in public park

Ludhiana, Apr 11 (UNI) Two Punjab policemen cops allegedly raped a 16-year-old Nepalese girl in a public park in the Rakhwal locality of the city tonight.

According to police sources, the alleged culpritss, managed to escape after residents of the locality rushed to the park on hearing the screams of the victim. The residents later gathered outside the residence of Deputy Commissioner and raised slogans against the police.

The Deputy Commissioner assured the people a stringent action will be taken against the two policemen. The victim was medically examined and thereafter a case has been registered.
