Panic at Kakpora in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 12: Panic gripped Kakpora main bazar in south Kashmir when a service weapon of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) went off accidentally.

People ran helter-skelter after hearing shots in the bazaar, mistaking it to be militant attack on security forces.

However, normalcy returned after some time.

A police spokesman said an Insas rifle of the CRPF Jawan of 183 batallion accidentally went off.
