'I still look up to Angelina Jolie': Jon Voight

Washington, Apr 12 : They may not have resolved their differences as yet, but American actor Jon Voight admits that he finds his daughter Angelina Jolie 'terrific'.

Voight and Jolie are not on speaking terms, but the actor has confessed that he still looks up to his estranged daughter.

"People who raise children properly are heroes to me because it takes a lot of work," Usmagazine.com quoted him, as saying.

"And when they do it with joy and love, there's nothing more beautiful," he added.

Voight also commended the 'Tomb Raider' star's global charity work.

"I think she's terrific. God bless her!" he stated.

The discord between Voight and Jolie has been going on since 2002, and it came about after he said during a TV interview that she had "severe emotional problems".

But he now views her latest pregnancy as being wonderful, saying that he feels great the family is expanding.

"I'm very excited, and I'm sending my love to the family. "They're getting to be a bigger family - it's great!" he said.

"It's nice to see people embracing family and loving that whole process," he added.
