Gerard Butler denies romance with Cameron Diaz

Washington, Apr 12 : Scottish actor Gerard Butler has denied reports that he is dating actress Cameron Diaz.

Rumours that the two are an item started circulating after they were spotted getting cozy at the Shutters Hotel in Santa Monica, California, and Teddy's bar in Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel.

But the 38-year-old actor says that everything has been blown out of proportion

"If I take a dog for a walk, apparently I'm f-king my dog!" Usmagazine.com quoted Butler, as saying.

Diaz, on the other hand told British GQ that she doesn't want to be tied down as yet.

"It's the first time I haven't had one in 10 years, and I'm enjoying what I'm getting out of this moment," she said.
