Three killed, 26 injured in two different accidents

Nashik, Apr 11: Three people were killed and 26 were injured in two different road accidents in the district.

In the first accident, two of the 24 labourers were killed when the jeep carrying them hit a tree near Desrane village in Kalwan taluka here, yesterday.

The jeep was on its way to Bhanjane (Nashid) from Kalwan when the driver lost the control over the vehicle and the accident occurred.

The deceased were identified as Mansaram Pawar (55) and Kamal Pawar (40). The injured were rushed to Kalwan sub-district hospital.

In the second accident, a labourer died and two others were injured when a road-roller hit a tanker from behind on a railway over-bridge of Manmad-Yeola road in Manmad town.
