Sikh pilgrims leave for Pakistan for Baisakhi celebrations
Attari, Apr 11 (UNI) A 2700 strong 'jatha' of Sikh pilgrims today left for Pakistan by three special trains for celebrating Baisakhi.
The 'jatha' is led by Balbir Singh, a Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandik Committee (SGPC) member.
The pilgrims will pay obeisance at the Sikh historic shrines at Panja Sahib, Dera Sahib in Lahore and Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak. The 'jatha' will return home on April 20.
