Paswan assures of timely supply of DAP fertilizer

Chandigarh, Apr 11 (UNI) Union Fertilizer and Chemical Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has assured of timely supply of DAP fertilizer to Punjab before the commencement of the kharif sowing season.

He gave this assurance to Punjab Cooperatives Minister Capt Kanwaljit Singh when he called on him at New Delhi today.

Capt Singh told the Union Minister that the total requirement of DAP for kharif 2008 in Punjab was 2.6 lakh tonnes and so far the entire requirement had not reached Punjab.

Mr Paswan assured that the necessary order in this regard would be issued tomorrow positively and he himself would monitor the supply of DAP.
