Wife commit suicide, husband taken into custody

Gurgaon, Apr 9: A woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her house in Sector 30, Gurgaon, sources said here today.

Bhavna (26) was married to Sameer Gupta (28) on February 18, 2008.

Sameer, who is a fashion designer participated in the recent Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. He said this morning when he woke up, he saw his wife hanging from the ceiling fan of his house.

However, Bhavna's family has alleged that Sameer murdered her last night and hanged her body from the fan.

They also said Sameer was having an affair with some other girl.

Sameer and his maid have been taken into police custody for further interrogations, sources addded.
