UPA Govt failed to prevent atrocities against women: Hema Malini

Harda, MP, Apr 9 (UNI) BJP Rajya Sabha MP and Bollywood actress Hema Malini today launched a scathing attack at the Centre for failing to prevent atrocities against women.

Ms Malini, while addressing a public meeting in the support of BJP candidate ahead of Lok Sabha by-election in Betul constituency, said atrocities against women had increased during the UPA Government rule.

Senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu was present on the occasion.

She lauded steps taken by the Madhya Pradesh Government for making equal opportunities available for women.
